Richard Gorman in one of Ireland foremost artists best known for his abstract and colour field works, and the interplay with geometric shapes and forms. Influenced greatly by over 40 years spent living in Italy, he says ‘Arriving there in the 1980s, I found myself living in the history of art, rather than reading it.’ His works have been exhibited in Ireland and internationally since the 1980’s.
