  • The highest approved bidder shall be the Purchaser.  If a dispute arises as to a bid, the lot in dispute may be put up for sale again at the last undisputed bid and any dispute whatsoever in respect of the property or the sale and delivery of the goods shall be determined by the auctioneer.
  • The bidding shall be regulated by the auctioneer and no bids shall be retracted.
  • The auctioneer has the right to refuse any bid at his absolute discretion.
  • The auctioneer retains the right to group together any lots, or to divide any lots during the sale, and in the case of lots upon which there is a reserve, the auctioneer has the right to bid on behalf of the vendor, or to withdraw a lot(s) from sale.
  • The auctioneer accepts no liability for any failure or delay in placing bids or any errors contained in bids placed via the online sale platform. In using the online sale platform you agree that you are doing so at your own risk.

The Buyer

  • The purchase price payable by the buyer shall be the aggregate of the price at which the lot is knocked down and a premium of 25% of the final bid together with Value Added Tax on the premium at the prevailing rate. For example on a hammer price of €1,000, the Buyer's Premium amounts to €250 and the VAT on the Buyer's Premium amounts to €57.50, giving a total amount due of €1307.50.

Packing and Shipping

  • The buyer shall be responsible for all packing and shipping costs for the purchased property. Where the Auctioneer, its employees or agents agrees to package Purchased Lots it is undertaken solely as a courtesy to buyers and is at the discretion of the Auctioneer. Further, the Auctioneer shall not be liable for the errors or omissions of, or for any damage caused by, any packers or shippers which the Auctioneer has recommended.
